Just done an oil change on the taxi this afternoon :P
let it warm up a bit, and all was good untill the oil hit around 55/60 celcius, as when revved, there is a gurgley rattle coming from the tappets
now this gurgley rattle does not occur untill the oil has warmed up, and the engine speed is increased above 2500/3000 rpm
is this a sign that they are well and truely donald ducked?
the oil i put in was Silkoline 5/40w - since its winter and cold, i thought it would be a better option over the 10/50 - oh well, not to worry
On another note, excellent service from Simon (Opie Oils)
anyone any gen?
