wait a sec, few questions
1) why do you want to turn the boost down
2) what spec (ish) is the car
3) does it have an amal valve (little round thing with 2/3 vac hoses sitting around near the driverside front of the enine bay with vac hoses going to the turbo and actuator

Q1. its over boosting!!! only by 2-3psi. hitting 25psi, should be 20-22. OBP keeps cutting in when you give it the berries!!!
Q2. low comp bottom end, uprated 4x4 head, 3 bar, greens (i think) not sure bout turbo. would guess bout 300ish hp!!
Q3. dont know!! but will look later!!

ok if its only a few PSI then yeah you'll want to give the actuator a quick turn (unless theres a bleed valve on her - thing with twisty knob on it between actuator and turbo)
just checking
just checking

Its an 11mm spanner for the nut on the actuator rod, don't loose the split pin that goes through the eye on the end,or make sure you have a spare.Undo the nut whilst griping the rod with a pair of mole grips then pull on the rod slightly to release from wastgate, lengthen the rod to decrease boost then retighten nut & pop arm back on. Be carefull when mucking about with boost it could end in tears, get it set up properly.

3psi maybe about 1 or 2 turns, you really need a boost gauge to check it with, back it off 2 complete 360 degree turns & check it with a gauge. As i say it may cost a bit but get it booked in as soon as poss & have it set up by a pro.
