Default No driving no loving?

Does anyone else lose the love for there car when they haven't drove it for a while?

I've just put mine up forsale but now I don't know if I really want to sell it I haven't drove it since central day and the tax ran out so I sorned it probably doesn't help. I know if I was to tax it tomorrow I'd pull the ad off lol

I think you will regret it if you really do sell it.

It puts a smile on your face if you drive the old thing, but when not using it or having 'troubles' with it you always think 'maybe i should sell it'. So think it over before you make up your mind.

That's what i would do.

I've been building mine for the last 3 and a half years and I'm actually really starting to hate it now.

I'm seriously considering calling it a day and getting rid, something I never thought I'd do.

When I was building it I said once its finished I'll drive it the summer then sell it lol but the feeling you get when you drive it for the first time is awesome first thing I thought when I drive out the garage and down the lane was "f*ck I wish I hadn't fitted that poly gearbox mount" while being vibrated to death

Those Vibratechnic mounts for the 2wd are horrid!!

I'd like to say that I can see light at the end of the tunnel but I can't!! I take one step forward and ten steps back!!

I think the next step I'll take will be into the garage armed with an angle grinder!! That'll teach the fucker!!!

If I feel like that and I do from time to time I just lock it in the garage and dont even look at it for a few months, then when I return to it so does my love for it, I used to hate cabbys but now id never get rid, I even put it up for sale once ant the moment someone rang about it I told them it was gone haha

The ad is down, the car is taxed and I've found some love lol decided it needs some new toys! Just fitted greddy boost controller and I think a call to msd is in order to get some closed loop and anti lag

felt like this in 2004 and I sold it. enjoyed the cash it brought and freed up my life rather than spending every weekend under the car or doing something under the bonnet, did not lower my passion for fords just cosworths as it took over my damn life
