Anyone have picture that how the strengthening plate attaches to front diff? Can it be attached without removing engine and diff? I know some people use the strengthening plate but I have no idea where it's supposed to go...
As my diff is open at the moment I am thinkin about to fit one.
What you guys think, useful or not at around 330bhp?
Absolute quality mod well worth doing, One of our members had a problem with a big power cossie that kept blowing front diffs, after buying a couple of new units when they were still available from ford and breaking them he bought a 3rd unit that was 2nd hand, fitted a diff plate and he said it never blew again dare I say it lol you want the Reyland one with the holes in it as its got better oil flow/circulation capabilities

Have just fitted a quaife front diff on my car which had a plate already in it, so here is a few shots of my old unit in pieces, its basically a sandwich plate that fits between the diff casing and bottom cover, can be done from beneath the car with everything in situ
