They are pretty easy to remove, one of inner ones of mine fell out when i remove the guide plate (yes I am going to poly mine as well) failing that you can put a large socket between the arm and the mount and GENTLY let the car down until the bush pops out.

Do the poly ones pop back in easy?! If not, I guess a bit of lube will help!

If using the socket method put a block of wood on the chassis rail first
powerflex ones go back in pretty easy with a bit of lube

doing the beam is alright to do but do not think about doing the trailing arms as they do not last 5 minutes before they are fooked.

And, if going for ally beam mounts, I'm guessing they don't need pressing in?!

as said above just use a 19mm socket, a jack and use the weight of the car to push the bush out

So jack the car up remove the beam mount bolts and that plate.Place a socket between the chassis leg and the bush. Then put the bolt in bush and socket and tighten up. So the socket will push the bolt out when lowering the weight of the car onto it.

socket and a piece of wood, or you might find a patch of rust you never knew was there and loose your socket in the chassis leg

the beam mounts are easy, get a big screwdriver in the side between them and the beam and prise them out, it helps if the centre tube section is removed first, but thats usually knackered and easy to get out anyway
I did my race car this way last year

screwdrivers won't help shift them unless they are properly buggered, in which case you can remove them with a fish finger

I wouldn't be damaging my chassis leg with sockets etc you can make a puller - long threaded bar with nuts couple of arb washers and a spacer tube you can pull the bush out without damaging the car.

I can post a pic of the tool I use to do it if that would help.

You don't do any damage to the chassis legs mate, it's a very easy thing to donor the car is still all together as you only need to undo 3 bolts

even easier, simply grease them up and jack them into place

if they don't slot straight in just sit on the seat above the mount and they will pop in

when i did my first set it too about 30 minutes for both sides and i didn't know what to expect

I used a harmonic puller and a big washer. Grease them up and they popped straight in.

I was told they would need pressed in......disagree with this

I wouldn't like to try them when the beams on the car

The hardest bit for me was putting the bolt through the sleeve into the floor, it was right f on to get the bolts started

How did you get the bolt to start then.

I could talk the car to work and do them on a 2 post lift or take the car to my dads and do it on his garage floor using a jack and axle stands.

The original mounts have a load of movement in them so you can just push them by hand and make them line up before screwing the bolt down.

The powerflex ones dont have any give by hand, I had to leave the opposite side screwed in by 7-8 turns then had to loosen off the 4 bolts on the diff mount to drop the beam more and give a bit more room.

Then when it's all lined up torque them up ( off memory they're tight 70-90nm)

I've done bushes on loads of saffs and if you jack it up like that trying to get the bush out it does.

Push the insert collars so they are about an inch above the bush locate in chassis rail put bolt in and then get a metal punch, centre it on the bolt head then jack the punch upto push the bolt to the threads then turn it in

I fitted them this afternoon. It took me about 2 hours to do them.I was suprised at how easy the bushes come out.The first poly bush i fittes went well. The nsr bush was a bit of a pain.I had the car jacked up,a jack under the beam and my dad was using a bit of a gurder to leaver under the wheels to push the beam forward so i could get the bush and bolt to line back up.
