you can use a std cossie iscv but you need to drill a hole into it

there two slots one on either side drill the center of these to 8mm and then drill two 6mm holes in between them so you have four holes instead of two slots

If you want to do it properly you will need to send the ISCV to be machined and have a proper hat fitted so you will get the full use of the ALS.

Drilling or making slots etc is a bodge

Remember the map will need to be modified and they don't run as nice from cold wi the top hat style one, unless you run a remote one so you keep standard in standard position

Jim, does that mean the simple method of drilling holes is ok then? How is it regarded as a bodge? I honestly dont know hence the questions.

My mate is building mine and he is doing the mods, he has done a few so knows whats what and i trust his opinion.

I need to run a remote housing as i have no room for it on the throttle body, does this mean i'll need 2, 1 for idle and 1 for the antilag?

Ran, we don't drill an holes, do I consider it a bodge, no, it does a ok job. ALS is all about air flow (without going into ignition and fuel cuts etc) the more air the better the ALS. The top hat design with a bored out throttle body gives the surface area of a 17mm hole, which is alot of air so the alls an be very aggressive.

If you want it for a few pops and the noise I'm sure a hole through the original valve workings will be fine

It's not that I need a second, I can't run the iscv on the throttle body cause of clearence so was looking into remote housings or remote iscv's off of different vehicles. As I want to run anti lag if anyone knew of a iscv that is remote that can flow well enough for anti lag then it kills 2 birds with one stone.
