I doubt it's standard as the Pectel board isn't standard. The "window" on the chip needs to be covered asap.

sorry, please forgive my daftness but i see the window on the chip, why would it be like that, and what difference does pectel make?

the car has a missfire you see,so was going to get a new map sensor,as everything else checks out,so i thought i would check the ecu in case it had a chip etc.

There's nothing to recognize on the Eprom, that's the problem.
The Pectel board also means that it's encrypted and not everybody can read and modify the mapping.

Do you know if the chip is OK for your engine spec? Has it ever run well? If you don't know the spec of the chip, then your options are limited - either bin the chip and buy another, or get a tuner to read the contents and tell you what it was written for.

hi

no i do not know if the chip is suitable,my car has, different actuator, exhaust, filter and green injectors.

the car appears to need a map sensor, but took a pic of the ecu and it seems to have asked more questions than answered!
