Just got hold of an ecu L8 said it was L8 how can i tell here some pics of it .there are some numbers stamped on it iaw048 above co2 screw which is white and this has no lugs please help.Neil

Thanks did not think the guy would rip me off ,do you know anyone that can read the chip to tell me what it is running supposed to have als etc .

what does it say on chip

If it's msd chip, ring msd as stu keeps records of all the chips specs etc.

I have been told it is an msd chip ,but it has no label just someones name and number might try them with the number but this supposed to have als and a few other bits on it just need to get the chip read by someone anybody know it must have some goodies on it as why would you use a pectel board,was there any other companys making these boards as it does not have pectel in the left hand corner .Thanks any help or thoughts on this would be great guys Neil.

dont level 6 have a white screw and L8 a yellow Co2 screw???

My L6 was more silver in colour, but I assumed this was dirty white.

That looks like a L8 with a L6 lid to me and its also 100% not one of my chips with ALS or LC.

It's not a standard extension board. It looks like Pectel, but I am not 100% sure.
Here are pictures from a standard ecu. Compare the chips and there place to your board.
