got my new l8 ecu through the post

took the cover off it to find out what chip it has
but aint got a clue, any ideas?

chip has l8 L3F 3L written on it

no, the fella I got it from wasn't sure what chip it is

the ecu has l8 4x4 330hp 1990 wrote on it in black marker, not that it means much

I might be wrong but it looks standard - i know my chip sits in an encryption board and has a sticker with MSD on i, i know that means nothing really but most put some sort f ID on them and why would you take it off. Looks std to me.

cheers, going to get a new chip from msd soon
but need to get the car running with this ecu before then

did a search to find pics of all the well known tuners chips and it dosent
look like any of them

would be handy if it was standard though
