Default Anti-lag Simple?

hi,

I borrowed this from a friend on another site.

On Cosworth Management for mild antilag (0psi at idle) you do not need ANY special shaft, ANY throttle body mods and a normal ISCV. You will need a P8 or similar board equipped ECU.

For aggressive antilag (positive boost on idle) you need a Maram shaft (which has a higher heat rating and can take the extra energy created by being on boost all the time) turbo and an enlarged Antilag hole and a special modified ISCV to flow more air into the inlet. You will need a P8 or similar board equipped ECU.

Is it as simple to have mild Anti-lag this easily?! Is it an additional chip that can be fitted to the board or will a whole new chip be required?

Many thanks,
Shane

As above, if you get a chip from MotorSport Developments they can equip it with Launch Control as well as Anti Lag

Noise!! well lets just say dont use it all the time, unless you want a fair amount of attention from pc plod

Good for a giggle at lights etc but again, i would only use it in small amounts unless your turbo is built for it

Isn't AL illegal to use ?, I can understand peeps getting launch control if they want it but not AL, still it's thier choice, just seems a gimmick for gimmicks sake.

I'd love to get LC for my 4x4 but with the chocolate-made standard MT-75 box it is probably not a good idea...

You still need to mod the ISCV for mild ALS!

It is VERY loud stationary, but not that loud driving

Did you not use an EGT gauge?

Serious exhaust temps, if anything other than mild will need modded turbo shaft(maram).
LC I could understand, electronic control is much quicker than human, but that's well on it's way for me now, just a(free) download away.

For reference, we supply ALS and LC for both L8 and P8 nowadays.
