Default where was my car built

its a 2wd sapphire 89 ? its probably been asked lots of times but i cant find any info on it. i always thought it was germany, its a 2wd sapphire 89. I was just leaving work this mornin when another collegue of mine said 'i used to build them ' , i asked if he meant cosworths and he said yeah at the dagenam plant . i thought tht was just the rest of the sierra range although they are tagged with the dagenam dustbin lol. he mentioned belguim aswell which rang bells , anyone know??
I dont mind if they are dagenams finest but just sounds a tad sweeter saying german or belguim

As above also did a lot of development work there for them, a manager of a certain well known(UK) race circuit also used to work there as well on the cossie range.

The theme for my new build is based one them being built in Belgium. I'm building a black and white saff and doing a subtle non-star wars "stormtrooper" logo on the window.

Why?

Canadian troops were key in WWI battles in Belgium. The Germans called us "stormtroop" and feared our advances. I have family who fought in the war buried in Belgium.

"German" car, built in Belgium, owned and driven in Canada. Odd I know, but it sorta means something to me.
