What’s the best value for money head gasket to buy?
I’m building a brand new engine for my sapphire cosworth and would like some help and advice on what head gasket is best to use, as there seems to be so many on the market, please help me!!
I’m aiming for between 350 and 400 bph but want a reliable power and don’t want to have to be pulling the head off every 5 minutes but at the same time I’m not a millionaire and unfortunately do not have endless money so I keen to work out the best/most cost effective head gasket set to use.

20K+ Super Poster.
I would use a group a YB 0611, as mentioned, with COMETIC inlet gaskets, as these are superb and re use-able.
This is also excellent from the point of view of non perfect surfaces, ie due to it's fibrous nature it will cope better with blocks that have not been skimmed etc and have a bit of rust/pits etc on them, whereas a steel won't.
