My 86'whaletail.....
400,3 hp @5913, and 540 Nm@ around 4800rpm...at 1.8 bar boost.
engine consisiting of:
2mm machined standard pistons....
GpA head gasket
MSD 6AL ignition system and Ford Motorsport plugleads
Black Siemens 550cc injectors
Ported and polished Jenspeed cylinder head, along with rewelded inlet Jenspeedmanifold, and uprated cylinder head bolts
Turbonetics T04e46....0.63 exh.housing
standard L6 ECU, with Jenspeed chip
Burton HP oil pump
Scorpion 3" exhaust
ProAlloy RS500 style intercooler
3 bar map(of course....)
Engine still on the original 205 bottom end....only newly rebuild with new bearings etc....absolutely no exotic parts used here....

Actually hard to say, as it came on together with a newly ported cylinder head, low comped pistons, bigger turbo etc......only thing I can say is that the car went a lot better with a newly overhauled engine and the e46.....
I guess the inlet will be about £100 in your currency, including a swap with your original 2wd or 4x4 inlet.....

I can add my 500 now as it was in bits back then.

407 lb torque at the wheels
Greys / BD 14 and 15 Cams and the usual T4 and rs500 gubbins.
We did one unrealistic 'pub run' with it going super lean for a split second which gave us 470bhp at the wheels. That was at 30lb boost, we usually run 28 tops.
No flywheel figures I'm afraid - something to sort out one day I guess

Not touched my saff since buying it, but i've got a dyno print out reading 358.3bhp and 328lb/ft at 1.5bar boost
spec is :200block,steel crank, greys, t34, 3bar map, pace 500 style cooler,pace rad,scorpion 3.5'' system + downpipe, l6 ecu.kent cams + verniers (unknown profile)
apparently it was live mapped by ART...
Going to get it rolling roaded to see how many ponies she's got left, then its a case of drive it til/if it breaks, then checking the spec during re-build
car goes well but would like the power to be a little less like an on / off switch!
