What power will a standard gearbox and clutch take on a sapphire 4x4 cos?

You'll always get a varience of opinion on this question, some people say 300 bhp some say 350 bhp on the gearbox side of things, but its the torque that kills 4wd boxes on cossies, anything more than 300 ft/lbs and the boxes tend to go bang,

with regards to clutches a standard clutch is good for stg 3 imo its just how long it lasts

As above, i killed a standard box and rear diff with 370lb/ft.

3rd gear is what kills the box if you foor it low down the revs and let the torque spike as it starts to come on boost.
