Default Sapphires electric rear windows

I have some problems fitting electric rear windows to my sapph. Should electric rear windows open as much as the manual windows?

Not sure how far manual rear windows open
Electric ones on mine go half way down, which is what I thought all rear windows on 4/5 door cars do

The rear windows don't come down all the way due to the shape of the rear door, but no matter if they are electric or manual. You may have dropped a cog when fitting the electric mechanisim. You'll probably need to remove the mechanism and check that when the motor has reach the end of its movement that there are no more teeth left to run.

I've never had this problem so I'm only guessing, if any one knows any different then please correct me.

The motors move on the floor just fine but when I install them into the door they open window only about 4". I am not really sure that which motor is the left and which one is the right one. Should the engine itself point to the floor? Are there any differenties about electric and manual windows glass itself?

The glass is the same I changed the manual winders in my LX a few years ago and only changed the motor and mechanism.

They open exactly the same! The glass physically cannot come down any further because of the nould of the rear doors!
