Just got myself a Puma 1.7 2000 X reg.

I have read a few times that fez parts are a direct fit, so i am wondering what parts will fit and what mk fez do i need to get the bits off?

The nearest Fiesta will be the Mk4/5 Fiesta Zetec S of the same age (97-01) although most parts are the same - brakes, the 1.6 engine, etc, the exhaust is different (the Puma one is slightly longer) and the suspension is different too.

anti roll bar is also thicker on a zetec s and that will fit on the puma, but apart from that the puma bits are generally better

then my advice to you is to flaunt what the puma does best, handle, if the bushes are looking tired then invest in some powerflex ones and fit the omp lower front strut brace, will totally transform the car apart from that just enjoy driving it there great little cars!

if you want more on the braking side of things then a 300mm brake conversion will go under the 15" wheels if you shave a small amount of the caliper and the work brilliantly.

if you mean the rear beam spacers then yes, 12.5mm or 20mm are the best bets, easy enough to fit aswell, its all about little tweaks with puma's if you start fitting coilovers and other various bits then you kind of have to keep going with them, best bet is to keep it simple, especially if its your run around.

sometimes i wish i hadnt turned mine into a track car lol

yeh decent set of springs, 40mm max i would recommend and you'll have the best of both worlds with handling and ride comfort
