Hey all i need some advice about my focus.

Its a 1.6 zetec but i want more power i read somewhere that a engine transplant is cheaper than a bigger car.

I want as much power from the car as i can get but parts for the 1.6 seem to be very limited. Im thinking a 2.0 would be good.

Short of that any recommendations about performance parts would be good.

any advice on this would make me very happy.

Probably should note im new to all this so please keep information simple as i wont understand all the technical terms and will probably get confused and explode

u can get a st170 engine convertion done for about 3.5k from pumabuild. obviously if you can do the work ur self u can cut the cost.
for anything higher, 1.8, 2.0l etc, everything needs to be replaced therefore it wont be the cheapest option.
i believe a puma 1.7 engine goes in well with a bit of work. but obvioulsy still only 1.7.

sure some more techy people will be along with it a bit more in depth, tho ill try and dig out some info i found when looking into my 1.6
