some info i ofund out when i was looking into it

Jenvey are doing a set of throttle bodies for the Zetec S family of engines. The shaw speed conversion is a bit of a bodge really, as any other throttle body conversion needs an inlet manifold, and it is virtually impossible to get clearance for the alternator on a Focus or Puma.

The Jenvey ones are straight to head and need no inlet manifold. They are saying the price will be ?556 +VAT and come with fuel rail.
You will need some ECU solution as the stock one will not run these.
You will also need ram pipes, air filters and probably some way to mess about with fuel pressure (maybe an FSE power boost valve).

THey whole thing really starts to make sense with head cam and exhaust work, as no one is really sure what if any difference this will make on a stock engine.

Herwe is a link to the website
http://www.jenvey.co.uk

it is alot of money for the amount of bhp imo. but if u want it go for it

And standard head on a 1.6 is good for 190bhp, so unless you're going for some wild cams, you're not gonna need the head work....

A decent 4-2-1 Manifold is a must, as is after market management, and with standard cams you could probably be seeing 140-150bhp with just the TBs.

ok cheers guys, ive got a 4-2-1 mani and a decat pipe and system from miltek and also kent cams, so a remap and tb's would be the next step i think. ive looked at the jenvy ones and they look pritty good, shaw speed look ok but were 2k.

That's including an Omex ECU....... You're gonna look at the same price with Jenvey, as you need an aftermarket ecu too.
