Default Just bought my new FRS :)

It's a phase 2 model and has black door handles. My first one had painted blue handles and looked better in my opinion, did the phase 2 have black for some reason?

Well happy with the car forgot how much fun they were

They don't have painted door handles the previous owner must have had it done.

well mines a 1.5 then lol has the seat stitches but no pink throttle bit or writing. not that it matters anyways. people get so hung up on a peice of pink rubber and think it transforms the car.

Crowds.

There are no phases, Ford just rectified any minor problems as the learned of them in the end result some have pink grommet some have dimmer for dash lights and some have a start button sticker by the button. I'm not sure if the stiched seats were done on the production line, I believe that was an after mod.

Well for purest pedants maybe there was no 'phase 2' but it's generally accepted that the later builds are 'phase 2' cars.

I'll have to check the door handle thing out, my old one was bought with 2000 miles on the clock and I'm pretty positive the original owner wouldn't have had them painted afterwards.

None had painted handles, would definately have been done by a previous owner. The stitched seats were a warranty recall so they only had them if the owner took it back to the dealer. The pink cable, starter button sticker and dash dimmer was on the later cars, mine has these but doesn't have the seats as the last owner never took it to get it done . Not sure what other differences the later cars had but i'm sure there were some. Anyone know what others there were?
