FRS lumpy tick over...
hi, since I have installed a blue fin I have been having some problems with lumpy tick over and occasionally while slowing down to a stop the engine has stalled when ive been changing down. The car is otherwise standard apart from a K&N induction kit and a collins dump valve. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Is your dump valve vent to atmosphere? if so this will cause your car to cut out at junctions and stuff. My advice would be to go back to recirc dump valve or the combination dv from Forge.

Sounds like the atmospheric dv as Keith has said - they can cause the car to stall in the way you've described - had a bailey dv26 had the same probs and returned to recirc in the shape of a bailey dv30

i fitted a bailey DV26 and had this problem,
since changed to a no-mad racing double piston type, stil atmospheric, and i dont get this problem now,
altho when i dont take it to full boost it doesnt dump, i get fluttering at anything up to .6bar of boost
it only dumps when i go over .6 bar of boost
