hi all, i need of some serious help because the damn thing is starting to cheese me off now! Had it re-built 1300 miles ago and up until recently she has run sweet as a nut. After the 1000 miles had the oil changed and head torqued down and was told it was fine to give her a little bit of right of foot. SO as any one with a new engine would i did (not too much tho) and loved it as she came onto boost and pulled sweet as a nut. She did this for about 300miles whithout a mermor but then the other day was driving along, gave her a little squirt of fuel, came onto boost and gave an almighty bang

Pulled up and she was runing sweet as a nut. Idleing perfectly no smoke nothing. So pulled off but as i pulled off she started to jolt, like if u were runing really low on fuel. It has continued to do this since and when u do ask anything of it, it wont boost or anything.

Now to add another spanner into the works, when she is cold (well after i have let her warm up a bit) a aks anything of it it runs fine and boosts fine until it starts to get half was thru the white block on the tempreature gauge, then the problem rises its head.

Any help wouldbe greatfully appreciated.

Seemed okay last night

 

I might be wrong but once the head has been torqued down once I didn't think it needed doing again. is your fuel filter ok etc. No crap in the tank.
