new samco boost hoses, problem
hi, fitted some new samco boost hoses today after my old ones were looking a bit tired, i noticed that the one what goes from the inlet of the turbo to the metering unit, looked abit squashed in the middle, anybody else has this problem, car boosts ok, but dont like the look of it!

had problem like this with mine, had to also cut about 1-2cm off to make it fit properly.
Also the little tiny bit of samco that goes from the crossover pipe (attached to the rocker cover) onto the inlet manifold was far too long, ended up cutting it in half to make it fit and look nice!
Strange when they say these things are an exact fit replacement!

Don't forget this hose only fits on one way!!! Its very easy to get it fitted back to front which will end up kinking it in the middle.
If you notive the inlet to the turbo is on an angle upwards...if you hold the hose up ni the air it will become obvious which way round it fits!! [Although you may STILL need to do some trimming]
