Default Zetec turbo alternator problems

I have a silver top zetec turbo engine in my series one, and come up against a problem with the alternator, thing is the engine came with an alternator (its Dan Stanoe's old engineout of his S2) now the engines in the alt is in the way of the water pump outlet with a short belt, or catches the anti roll bar mount and the tensioner will not fit, any one got any suggestions on what alt/bracket/tensioner set up I should use that will clear the water outlet and not catch the roll bar mount.
Thanks

Cheers studabear, forgot to mention that I think it has an 1800 zetec water pump as I it doesn't use an idler set up, just triangulated, bottom pulley, water pump and alternator.

you could also save yourself some room if you used the bosch alternator from a fiesta 1.3 endura engined mk5 fiesta, as its 70amp as per rst but more importantly its got no external fan to chafe through any hoses plus its a modern design in comparison to the rst one and comes with a decent bolt on heat sheald. just have to swap the pulley and two washers off the cvh alternator and grind a little bit off the mounting lug, mine cost Ł15 from the breakers

Thanks, I might try that, but I will need to use the pulley off the zetec alt as it is the ribbed belt type.
