Yea i had the same my metering unit was just completly out of scale. Make sure the injected quantity is lowered before you try to start again.

Is the metering unit of this car or are you running this set up completly new?

thanks for reply!

metering unit is not from the car as I was replacing what I thought was the problem one by one...so you just turned down the injected quantity and this fixed your situation?

That is the problem this is 3,5 years ago. I don't know men! haha

Things i think you can do are:

- Start without air filter (be in clean envoirement) and check if your metering unit moves, not stuck or slowly closing after opening
- check if all injectors are firing equal amounts (just take them out and put them in a cup
- Disconnect a cold start injector if mounted
- Go into the metering unit manuals to see how you can turn down the fuelling

But one thing is mega important, if it starts take it to a tuner! Don't even drive it to there as long as your not sure that your fuelling is ok else you better start building your new engine already! Lean running will let it die within no time!

Or fit a wideband lambda kit and make sure you drive to your tuner with lambda 1-0.8 then your are sure you are over fuelling. If you do this make sure no airleakages are before your sensor

Change the oil before you start it, or you will end up needing new bearings with fuel in it

Sounds to have over fueled and bore washed

Have you done a compression test, my advise is change the oil and do a compression test, then adjust the fuel as above with new plugs and have a go again at starting

Aslong as you stop it over fueling the rings can reseal if you get it started with fresh oil, just leave on tick over for quite awhile

I think your compression won't be an issue. If you have as massive over fuel it will just leak through, but still always good to check it.

Only the new plugs aren't needed imo if you had new onces before you started starting. The massive overfuelling won't cause the plugs to die. Only if the plugs are old i think rsmark86 is right cause it can be your cause of not starting. Altho it still sounds like a massive overfuelling what causes it not to start
