Here you go mate and yes I did mine, but my ports are deliberately on the small side as I wasn't going for massive power.

Good luck mate!

Big ports do not mean big power. Most "home ported" big port heads do not make the big gains that most think. The largest restriction with a CVH is the factory inlet manifold.

Alright Perry i still think its my port sizes as it seems like ive got a flow problem mate. Ive made my self a new manifold so not a factory fitted and now im going to start porting a new head but i want it to be good to flow enuf for 350+bhp.

Ps I did try to pm you a pic of my map but i dont know how to copy it to send it to you

The CVH port is a tricky port to get right. It has an offset port shape which has issues.
One can make the entire port area larger, but without a flow bench to test results of material removal one can easily remove material that makes the flow worse.
This is the trouble with high power CVH builds - the head flow.

CNC heads does a pretty good job with CVH stuff. We got similar flow results with a smaller port - which means higher velocity.
We got to 200cfm @ 28" and 0.450" valve lift. Plenty of flow for well over 175 HP normally aspirated.

I hope to see your map someday.

Cheers

perry
