I've got a Pace rad and a Radtec intercooler with a big single fan at the front along with a 82 deg thermostat, but try and fit fans in between the rad and intercooler works better.

Ive got a radtec ic and an airtec rad, both alloy obviously... Twin spal's on the front of the IC and the temps rise to 96/98 on the motorway (so the fans are on) and sit there!
If i sit in traffic the temps go up to 96/98 and sit there and don't come down!

I think ive got an airflow issue!

you do! i have the same setup as you and my temps never go above half, usually sit at a quarter! even with hard runs on the rolling road it just got to half

lol... True but i see that as a good thing

No even on motorway journeys etc the temps rise! Im thinking the airflow is getting blocked by the Ic?

I'm going to put another set of fans on my radiator. Do I need to have fans on the intercooler as my front bumper is cut out so the air hits that straight away ?

Standard radiator and big pace cooler. The normal ford fan on the radiator. I have a separate rad for my turbo and water cooled exhaust valve guides. My fan is on a ford switch for the RS turbo which comes on 2°C lower than there normal ones (was told this by the guy in the parts dept). I use water wetter in my coolant.

My Fiesta never gets above halfway on the temp gauge unless, I am racing on a track, or I am in town and the fan is not working (happened a few years ago). Even then does not get into the red! Possibly over cooled but I haven't finished with her yet, as I want to add N2O !!!

You do realise that the pace half cooler is as much use as anne franks drum kit.. it barely cools better than standard

i have never been a fan of double stacking the rad and intercooler and thats why i rebuilt the front of my fez and build my own turbo pre rad, main rad and intercooler.

p-s not tested the setup yet!

Here's the Airtec rad and Forge intercooler that was already on my car when I bought it last year, they bolt perfectly into the standard location:

The coolant temps are fine but Ive not got a clue about charge temps?

Anyone familiar with this Forge cooler?

Cheers Nos Burner...
My Radtec intercooler sits alot higher than yours, touches the top of the slam panel. It completely blocks the rad.

Are your cooler and rad tight against each other like this?

If there's a gap the air might not be forced through properly. I tried a fiesta alloy rad on mine which was too big and left a gap between the cooler and rad due to my intercooler being mounted in front of the crossmember not on top of it.

Default Cooler setup :-)

My setup is a Airtec Black series water cooler and a Radtec front mount intercooler . Not sure where to put the fans yet? Currently they are in front of the intercooler...

The inlet is not finished yet. The trumpets on the picture was a test mockup. But I think I am going for a Jenvey Turbo plenum. Like this one:
