Zetec sumps and flywheel question
Morning guys
Just need to know a few things
Im going 2.0 blacktop zetec turbo with a mondeo engine in my s2
Firstly flywheels.
I understand I need a 1.8 zetec one.
Can I use a cvh efi flywheel and open up the bolt holes ?
If so can I do it myself or does it have to be done by an engineering company ?
Also sumps
I need a 1.8 zetec sump and pick up.
But Is a 1.6 zetec sump And pick up the same ?
And thirdly cams
My head is missing the u brackets that run between the cam lobes to bolt the cam shaft down ( the bearing cap things) lol.
Can I take these from any zetec head ?
I've been offered a free 1.6 zetec lump you see so I'm seeing if it's worth getting to use any bits
Cheers guys

PassionFord Post Whore!!
afaik the cam caps are individual to the head so unless you have it linebored (sp) I suggest finding another complete head.
What management are you gonna use, mfi rs turbo flywheel has no pick up/trigger setup

Spoke to the machine shop and they reckon the head is scrap without the original cam caps.
The line boring is done at factory from new , and to be done would cOst hundreds.
And apparently if I was to buy new cams I would use the old caps so that doesn't help me either.
Just gotta hope the guy I got the engine off of can find the caps as they are numbered

Caps can not be swaped from head to head and must also be fitted in the place they are removed hence they are numbered.
You can use a 1.8 or 1.6 sump if you are using a silvertop engine yes.
You can also use a cvh efi flywheel yes but you will still need the 1.8 cps and bracket
