boost problem
hi all.. im new here, im always reading up on the threads people write but this time i thought id actuall join and write my own problem with my series 2..
anyways to the subject.. my car ust to boost to 1 bar then a second later drop to only 0.5... when i toke the actuator off it was about an inch back from the pin it clips over.. so wat the've done is pull the actuator arm out to fit onto the pin.. is this wrong ?? .. i had a spare actautor from my frst and put that on so it was as short as possible but so i didnt have to pull it atall.. took is for a test drive and still only 0.5 bar.. then i shortened the actuator an inch as it now peaks at 1.5 bar and drops to 1.0 bar.. confused?

shortening the actuator arm is called pre load and needs to be done properly to suit the engine/chip set up,
the shorter the arm the more boost you will see, be carefull messing with it if you dont know the safe running boost range on the chip

1.5 bar on 195 chip is too much i think imo!!! before u blow it up turn it down mate to 14psi max. or just take it to a tuner and let them set it rather than u blowing your engine!!!for the sake of a actuater
