Well, I managed to fix the sump gasket on my new ERST, only to find that it wasnt to blame for the oil leak...
got it all back together, put some oil in and started the car. looked underneath to check and saw a drip. On further inspection I saw that oil pressure switch was leaking (a lot). New oil pressure switch this morning and it seems to have cured it..
The moral of this story is, to check where the oil's coming from before jumping in and fixing something that isn't broken. However though, the sump's been shotblasted and powder coated, while it was off and looks great.

I yesterday purchased another sump gasket, if its not the sump gasket thats leaking on mine then its the crank seal behind flywheel. Gotta do sump gasket again just to be sure.
