Default Speed sensor - Turbo timer?

Hi guys i have a Greddy turbo timer that i'm fitting to my car, but after reading through the manual its got so much more functionality than just a turbo timer, but i'm not able to use half of it as its all digital theres a function called attack mode that can measure your 0 - 60 times, and other things but you need a speed sensor. Does anyone know if you can connect it to an escort one?

Yeah I agree with Richie, most things like that can be configured to work with any and all sensors.

Usually with things like this they specify in the manual what type of signal it requires/receives.

Been a long while for me now but im pretty sure the speed sensor in question are hall effect, so a 5v square wave signal

Project RS Cheers for the link mate.

Safechav long time since i've seen you posting!

i have the digital manual here, no paper one.

http://www.greddy.com/upload/file/FATT.pdf

fitting it according to that (page 5/ 6) states its simply one wire but doesn't give anymore info than that

Well you know.........i like to make a guest appearance every now and then, you missed me?

Hows life over on the Orion Register? lol

You cant beat a vague manual Its got to be compatible if its only one wire. Had a similar thing with my mates evo a little while back when wiring in a shift light, that thing seemed to take a signal from anything and everything you connected it too lol.

Nice one for the info cheers.

The orion register is quiet, but good. We're all mates tbh as theres only ever 8 or 10 at the shows now! shame, when i first joined in 2005 there were 26 orions at ford fair! So many have either been scrapped or the owners have moved on.
