alright chaps.
I have bought a b&m off rs mark should be here 2moro, its second hand so doesn't come with instructions. How do i go about fitting it ? My old selector isn't fitted on the car atm so its out ready to be changed for the b&m .
As far as I'm aware the B&M kit only contains the selector its self and a small bearing is that right ?then i use parts of my existing selector .... How do i go about fitting it ? is it self explanatory once i have removed the underside of my old selector.
Forgot to add that my existing shifter has a pushdown revesrse will this make a differenc ?
Thanks Conor.Rst

Recived my shifter today, looks nice. Only problem is that the retaining clip seems to have been snapped in half at some point. Will this cause problems ?

Thier is no push down on the bm for reverse mate what box have you got ?
fitting is straight forward remove all the springs etc under the old shifter & just attach the bm shifter to the connecting rod then refit the cover
you will need a new circlip though
i done mine with the rods still attached to the box so i didnt have to adjust
also get some rubber gromments or something before you bolt it up to the floor
as mine made a hell of noise with vibrations
not very good at explaing or spelling
but hope its helped
the difference is day & night

Conor - thats my old B&M, Mark brought it off me. The "c" clip im not sure if it should be bigger but thats the same size as when i had it, just use some long nose pliers to squeeze it right on.
