na mate you need a cosworth rear exhaust housing to get any benifit other wise you might aswel keep the rst t3...
im after Ł500 for the whole set up its a nms spec turbo
custom made down pipe that slots in to you rst 2.5" exhaust
turbo complete done 2k and built to run at 2bar lol
actuator and bracket
new oil feed and mint return pipe
and has the water pipes for a s2 aswel
whole lot

id be very tempted if i could shift the van ive got for sale on this forum, hardly had any interest which is surprising as they proper rare now.
my t3 is shagged, only reason im asking this is cos a mate has offered me his t3 cheap off his cossie, basically i wudnt be bothered about a big benefit,as long as it would be as good as a normal t3 id be happy.
if my van sells asap id snap that up!

if you're not bothered about getting more out of it significantly, then remove the exhaust housing from the shagged turbo and fit the cossie core into the exhaust housing.
it could be as easy as that, assuming the 6 bolts come out of the housing without all snapping.

Its a easy job to do mate just need to make a down pipe and cut and move the actuator down. you can make a down pipe using a standard cosworth down pipe. Can jano not help you with exhaust and actuator brackit. he puts cosworth turbos on his cars

just bolt your .36 exhaust housing from your rs to the cossy turbo job done
and you'll have a bigger comp wheel so be a bit of an up grade
plus you can sell me your cossy housing

theres no point mate you mite aswell leave your turbo on and i don'nt think you can do that anyway. don'nt think you can put a .36 exhaust housing onto a cosworth turbo thats ment to have a .48 housing on.

Had a knackard t3 on my erst, bought a cossie t3 off my brother cheap
Then all I did was take the cossie core out and put it into my original housing
Works fine.
Probley would have had more benifits to use the cossie housing but I just wanted to get it back on the road.
Hth cheers John

Ask me a question!

As karlos said its the same sort of thing that companys would call a stage2. It would be better with a .48 CVH style fitting, off a saab or volvo so it would have a better exhuast housing. You can use the cossie housing which works better than the CVH style, as i explained to Rick if you do this you will need a custom downpipe and also an actuator bracket.
