on the dyno at Dastek today
Took my RS to Dastek in Fife today for a setup and to fix some niggles. Have to say very professional and credit to Russel who knows his stuff.
Unfortunately the dyno highlighted that my actuator was possibly weak as it was only making 0.3 bar of boost (about 5 psi) hence only getting 160bhp at flywheel. Probably due to me fitting it but have my old one to try out.
Looks like I can remove the starter to swap it over, is that correct?
Anyways hopefully that will fix the problem some more boost and should be able to achieve 200 bhp.

Standard rebuild bottom end and head,
Airtec FMIC,
Magnex exhaust,
K&N induction kit
Chipped ECU,
Stage 1 T3
Running MFI
Still to fit Koni adjustables and a OMP front strut brace. Hopefully getting a cage soon and maybe some new racing seats.

Yeah Russ said it was very good numbers considering there was sod all boost. So how do I remove the actuator then without removing starter motor etc?

Good power for f*'k all boost mate. try tightening the actuator you have, slacken the 11mm lock nut and screw in (shorten the rod) by about 5mm, this will give you more boost and tighten the actuator up. If you pull of the boost controll pipe to the actuator does it still only make 5 psi?

Job done seems to pull stronger now. Disconnected the crappy boost gauge I had as it sounded like a leak coming through the dash.
Gonna pop out later for a quick run and check over hopefully track day tomorrow!

At the flywheel yes, 100 or so @ the wheels.
Dunno what boost I don't think the cheapo gauge was working. Feels a bit more lively now and not as flat. Only turned it two turns on the actuator.
