im not looking to advertise on this forum i would just like some advise ive got an escort rs shell complete its not a minter its had welding done but only patch work not new pannel stuff in the usual places boot,sills and couple underneath,under the bonet on the bulkhead and battery tray has no rust and is mint,its complete,ive got a freshly rebuilt engine new pistons rebore new shells oil pump,felpro head gasket reground valves new guides hydolic tapets,new distributer,cambelt tensioner literaly everything to get it on the road plus a van load of spares how much should i advertise it for?

1.9 xr2 on 40's

im in beccles, i may be after a few bits
shellwise if it aint mint its not worth anything, this year i scrapped 2 series 2's and 2 frst's all would have lived again with very little work if any but nobody wanted them ever for free

im in this position with my s2 shell.its completely bare and has been restored,new arches,sills,wing,floorpans.its all painted and motd and comes with the kit.im keeping it till i get the plate off of it and was thinking of putting it into storage,but if its never going to be worth anything i may weigh it in and get whatever its worth in scrap now.it wont cost me anything to store it away and i can leave it in this garage as long as i want.i just thought that in the distant future it may be worth something to somebody like mk1 escorts are now.

just think you guys are scrapping these mk3/4 escorts give them a few more years they will be same as mk1/2, makes me tbh
