1.)

I am having problems removing mirrors. Everything else is simple but the wiring goes in the door and there is no connector? How stupid design. Every other car there is connector you dont need to remove door panel. However i removed door panel but there was no connector.
So no new paintwork for mirrors.

2.)
My fuel pump cradle need new set of rubber parts, those bushes etc.
Do someone sell parts or is only option to buy new cradle from autospecialists?

Okay then tell where the plugs are in the door.. because i cant see those. Wiring goes straight inside the door.

Sorry I can't help with the mirrors but if you find out about the parts for the fuel pump cradle could you let me know, as I'm after the same parts, if I find the parts, I'll drop you a pm where I got them.

Yes.. i already did but the wires goes straight inside the door and are pretty invisible to me.
If someone can post picture and mark the connector location.

i got the rubber parts for mine from ford in preston less than a pound each, they are also on ebay

Okay i will tomorrow email local ford dealer or can you post item id or url for those parts. I cannot find with rs turbo fuel pump or fuel pump cradle

Do you have a Finns number botters, was that just for the big rubber bushes as I'm also after the rubber sectioned bolts.

Hiya Antti, cant help specifically with the escort, but on a sierra the cables run across the bottom of the door, the connectors are on a clip on the inside of the door across the bottom! pretty invisible but run you hand along and see if they are there, cant imagine ford doing things too differently.

I have to get decent flashlight like ledlenser first, then i have to try locate those connectors. I already check the bottom of the door and there was no wiring at all.
My blog is Finnish only because my English is so horrible and most of the readers are Finnish people. I hope i will get mirrors for paintshop quickly.. spring is so rush time everywhere.

ANTTI: I've just phoned my local ford and they want Ł48+vat for the two large rubber, but that comes with the metal plate and they want Ł64 +vat for the three rubber sectioned bolts! At that price I may as well buy a AS cradle!

BOTTERS: what the name or number of the dealership you got yours from?

P.s i've now phone my local ford dealer( Evans halshaw) and just got off the phone to TC Harrison, I think the biggest ford dealer group in the uk and they came back with the same price. Going to have pop at making some at work tomorrow, I'll let you know how I get on and if the they come out good I'll pm you and put some in the post for you.
