Default 4x4 t3 turbo.

Just a wild stab in the dark, but would one of these on a erst?

Or are the mounting brackets or housing or something different so it wouldnt work?

Would what? Fit? It needs a different downpipe as the exhaust housing is very different, but also better. Especially the flow out from the wastegate is much better.

For the time, money and effort to get the cossie one to fit, you could get a decent RST hybrid that could be perfectly matched to the mods on your engine.

I just brought a roller bearing t3 for my erst and that was only a little more than a stage 1 cossie one! Still got to fit it, as the engine is just being finished this week, so will see what its like soon

Ok for those who are intrested; it is a T3 Turbonetics ball bearing unit - Supplied by Universal Turbos and has 48 housing and 60deg compressor trim. Cost - not far of £1k (exchange) with the VAT and Carriage

I'm just running the engine in at the mo, but you can feel the difference, even below 3000 rpm. It starts to spin at about 1000rpm and the dump valve goes off like hell at only 2500rpm! Reckon its gonna be a tidy unit!

do you just buy an old system and then cut the pipe off that connects to the back of the turbo, or does someone make a custom pipe?
