coilovers (set up right)
polly bushed
adjustable bottom arms
equal lenght drive shafts
focus rs box with diff
and it puts well over 300hp down no problem

Sticky tyres are a good way, but remember that the more grip you give it, the more likely you are to bust gearboxes.
I'm running 305bhp at the moment, it's my low-boost setting and it's amazing how sedate it feels. It's really laying the power down well. Not sure how it will be when I crank the boost up.

I dont have 300, not even 230 maybe. My rst ran 14.4 / 164kmh quarter without wheelspin. I believe i can add 50bhp more and still no wheelspin problems.
I have simple packet:
Koni yellows
Powerflex
H&R Springs
Toyo T1R standard 15"
std lsd

Because by the time you get the car to boost the car is rolling so there is less weight to pull as the car is in motion. its a bit like this 0-60 thing, nearly all fwd cars will be much slower than 4wd and rwd and manufacters allways use this as a performance figure for all cars.
when in fact the true figure to understand a cars ability is a rolling car when says it already doing 30mph and then you measure how quick the car will reach 100 or 120,130mph.
i had a 2wd cossie turbo on my rs turbo and it would not come in on full boost any earlier than 4k rpm, but compared to my previous t3 it would not spin the wheels.

didnt find this with mine, found that by the time the turbo was boosting fully the car was rolling enough to not break traction, but i didn't like the nature of this as around town it was too lame lower down and a very narrow power band!

I think a lot of the problem is how the boost comes in, whether you're running a small or large turbo to be honest....it's amazing the difference a well mapped car can drive compared to one of the same power but mapped differently. 300bhp+ is always going to be hard work to put down easily in an rs turbo, does depend what you want the car for (track/road/qtr mile etc etc) as to how you want your power delivery. My old engine at 250bhp was nothing like as bad as the majority of people thought it would be with regards wheelspinning, did depend how you drove it as to how it put the power down though. My new engine when i put a bigger turbo on it should be up round 300 so will just have to see what happpens and make alteration and improvements as i see necessary.
