I would say of all the things that stop it wheel-spinning, the laggy turbo isn't one of them. It'll just light the wheels up higher up the RPM's.
didnt find this with mine, found that by the time the turbo was boosting fully the car was rolling enough to not break traction, but i didn't like the nature of this as around town it was too lame lower down and a very narrow power band!
