when i go to boost up it sounds like a air leak been cheaking all
the boost hoses all ok, what other parts need looking over thanks

 

What does it actualy do, boost cut in and out? Not spool up at all? Overboosting? backfiring?

 

boosts but not well seems like powers down when it cuts in seems flat

 

if it makes loads of noise like its sucking loads of air but goes nowhere
check your dizzy.

very first thing i'd do is to check your dizzy and timing.

 

If your running standard boost then set it to 12degrees BTDC with the vacuum hose to the ECU blocked off on the inlet manifold.
If you've had it tuned and running high boost then back to the tuners mate or you risk your engine by guessing what it should be set at!

had a look and the turbo has play up and down side to side, going to take it to a tuner tuesday.
