Hello Anvini good to see more people from Spain. I changed recently studs and nuts in my CVH and studs are the same in the inlet and in the exhaust. Also the nuts are the same , the only difference is the washer.

As standard they are not the same. The exhaust studs have the Torx head for inserting the stud, where the inlet studs do not have this. I don't see any reason why you can't use exhaust studs on the inlet side, probably the washers and nuts too for that matter.

However, on the inlet side, don't forget that there is a tube nut arrangement and a short stud in the middle too.

Thanks for the response christian! I recently changed all the studs in my head and I used in inlet and exhaust the same type and all is fine. Also I am talking about the naturally aspired CVH, and I suppose the turbos may be different.

In my car originally studs in inlet and exhaust were the same and they don`t have the torx head for inserting the stud

I bought the studs and nuts in my ford dealer. No problem because that studs are used bu later editions of the cvh so they keep them in stock. They are not cheap at 2€ each but at least the quality seems to be very good , and the torx head makes them easier to insert the stud.

Un saludo para ti tambien!
