Mine's 245bhp/230 torque and it took two years to break it lol. That was two years of proper abuse though, track strip etc. Only needed a few bits replacing though, diff was fine and it's back in again going strong!!!

A.) You've used the standard diff (atb diff alone is around £600)
B.) You haven't paid anyone to rebuild it, i think you'd be surprised what cts do to their boxes to ensure they handle the power...
A standard box (which it sounds like you've basically got) won't last long with big power, the cts stage2 and above are proven to do the business! What parts did you actually replace when rebuilding your box??

I agree with what you have said about myself using the standard diff like there stage 1 box, but ive stripped a cts box which was also stage 1 and the only difference i could see is the oversize bearing, so i wont be surprised no, all im saying is there expensive.
Ive built this box to the same specifications as there stage 2 except the diff, oversize mainshaft bearing, modified case, ib5 bearings, all the same, so if i was to use this box in a reasonably modded rs it would do the same job as theres, i belive the atb diffs are around the £400 mark so i was told.
