Default which head gasket????

I have a s2 rs turbo which has a 1900 bottom end, the piston bore is a shade over 83mm, spoke to speed shack and the payen head gasket is 83.1mm bore which means that it may be no goos, so I may have to use a felpro group a jobbie which I dont want to do as ive just removed one after failing after just 1500 miles with 500 of them at 11 psi

any help would be great

at 83mm your pushing the standard ford item, i'm pretty sure its only about 82.5 or something so off limits.
i agree on felpro being crap, my last engine needed 86mm and i was stuck and had to order felpro at great expense, the quality was very bad when compared with ford/payen gaskets imo
not much help sorry but away from 80mm or 2litre 85/86mm zetec there ain't a huge amout out there, correct me if wrong but i did have good look around

I could only use the felpro one as its the right size, or you can spend 200quid on one from sitec racing, ive herd plenty of bad things but never experienced them

I don't mind being proved wrong if it helps but if you didn't know, that ebay Ad said upto 83mm so unless you knew thay did larger bores i doubt you'd bother with it with his spec as described above
