Top end knocking sound

Top end knocking sound
I get what i think/hope is not a knock as i let off the throttle from the top of my cvh, any ideas what it could be? The head has only done about 3k and the cam was fitted as a kit about 1500miles ago and run in properly.

I think Kent expect you to change your cam each time you fill up with fuel. They should paint it yellow and call it a service item.
Piper cams for CVH aren't much better.
Newman are the best of whats available. Take that as words of experience, I have been through all this.

well thats a good bit of advice! was looking at kent and piper, think i will go for newman now! which cam kit should i get though im really confused by all the numbers and lift and spec! im building engine so but its just normal build nothing wild, head work propbably but on standard turbo.

To be honest mine doesn't do it all the time. Its mainly when cold and idling, after that its fine but a little noisey at warm idle, but aren't all cvh's

haha yeah i am! Its cuz i spent all my money getting it rebuilt and can't afford to do it all again! I also would not know what i'm doing taking it apart and setting it back up again
