you can use the frst ofac or ofab ecu.if you use the ofac you need the ofac map sensor to go with it it looks like a standard efi one but is a bit smaller at the top.If you use ofab then you need the ofab map sensor its more like a triangle iirc with the hose connection in the middle were as ofac map has the hose underneath.Xr3i loom from an efi will plug straight into frst engine loom if you have any problems look on rsbible.co.uk it tells you the complete conversion.hope this helps

you can use the xr3i engine loom but you need to change two of the plugs, charge air temp sensor and water temp sensor on back of inlet. On 3i's there a wierd round plug but you need the sensors from a frst witch are square heads mate.

yeh ive done the conversion,i tried both ofac and ofab ecus and map sensors but had lots of problems so i ended up gettin gotech management and first off had problems with that but turned out to be week fuel pressure, there was a split in a petrol hose in the tank that comes off the pump fixed that and was fine

i used the 3i head on mine been told on hear that all efi heads are the same plus you will need the efi throttle cable but never heard about swaping the water sensor will have to look in to that.plus some peaple say you need a surpresor if you run ofab but my mate has done this conversion before and said it ran fine without one

The water temp sensor and charge air sensor read differently on 3i and frst it will run with either but if you want it right then swap them for frst ones then you know you can increase boost etc without any issues with sensors. As for the surpresor it will run fine without it but it WILL do damage in the long run so if you are going the ofab route then get the surpresor,If you dont need it then it wouldnt be there in the first place, its there for a reason so get one.
