What intercooler on a series 1 turbo
Hi,
Difficult one for you all, I am thinking about upgrading the intercooler on my series 1 turbo. It currently has a pace dual core one that sits in the standard place, I am currently running 180 ish bhp at the flywheel with unlimited boost chip (running 14 psi though), cam, 3 inch exhaust and kn filter. Was thinking about a front mount cooler from autospecialists with the slimline fans.... anyone had one of these? can it be kept looking standard? I want to keep it looking standard but also want to keep the act's low as poss? any idea's?
cheers

A friend of mine is using a auto specialist cooler. You cant really see it thought the bumper with the fans fitted aswell.
Seems to work ok too

None really. Just a bit of messing about with the rad and brackets

You pretty much see it from the picture. The panel in between the bumper and the IC has been trimmed and bent forward to make room for the fans.

GRS is a twin pass, proalloy is single pass, Radtec is a copy of the GRS - twin pass
