Default help!!! no power to fuel pump????????

hi everyone,
please can you help me with yet another problem!
i have fitted a new fuel relay and new fuel pump as advised, due to my car not starting, fuel pump not priming etc.
i have done the above and it still wont start, so i checked for a live to pump and guess what! there isnt one!

so does any one know of a common fault in this area or any ideas as to what the problem is?? (all terminals are clean)

thanks once again for any help

sorted it!
i re checked the fuse after daz mentioned it.
fuse was fine but i pulled it out to check it properly.
the slot for the fuse looks a bit chared/burnt and the pins were a bit bent, so i cleaned/straightened them up and hey presto it f***ing started.
result thanks daz.

but now im a bit concerned about the slot lookin a bit burnt, dont want my car to set on fire

any ideas why its getting so hot and has burnt the slot??

many thanks

My fuse box caught on fire few months back. Check all your connections/fuses and make sure they are all the right amp as it says on the fuse box.

Make sure your fuse is a 20 amp fuse. Any less and it will get warm.
