Starting / Fuel issues
Right im sure this has been asked about a million times before and if it has please just point me the right way ive tried searching but to no avail
Right my little Series 2 RS Turbo is having problems starting
the fuel pump primes , there is fuel and pressure right up to the fuel distributor , there is pressure up to the cold start valve , but nothing at the injectors , i crackd on off the pipes off and turned the engine over , no fuel at either or the ends , good oil pressure , decent spark (tested before i got fuel everywhere) it had been stood for a couple of months outside and its had a head gasket replaced in the last week.
Any help would be greatly apreciated

Part of the Furniture
Under your dash, on the passenger side, you will find a pink rele (Spelling?), take it out, and use a short wire to bridge the two big wires.
This will make the fuelpump stay on.
Now, press the paddle in your metering unit down, and at the same time open one of the fuelpipes on the metering unit.
Hopefully you will now have fuel at the screws, so do it on all the pipes, replace the pink box, and of you go

You won't see any fuel out of the injectors unless the flap moves down, and being as you've removed the injector(s) you have introduced an air leak into the system = no fuel spraying

Would have to be a fairly sizeable leak i reckon.
The whole inlet system and engine itself are potential air leaks, so could take a while to find it, if thats what the problem is
