Default silver top or black top zetec turbo

Which is better to turbo a silver top zetec or the slightly later black top zetec

from what I understand, the black top is a bit more complicated due to the water pump or something.

silver top is more straight forward and is more commonly used

black top is more involed with the water pump and i think a pulley problem on something...PM Alex or Faye for the problems...however the black top head flows more than the silvertop and more power could be had...but the main caps are weaker on these

if your not looking at more than 400-450hp then a silvertop will be fine

Can you use the black top head on the silver top block ?

Yes but you have to fabricate a new tensioner. I have done this.
