when my car was last out i was having probs putting power down as all it wanted to do was spin i have the standard s2 box with a ap4 paddle and was wondering if there was anything i could do to stop so much spin

i expect there always to be a fair bit but just wanna help it

Turn the boost down!!

Alternatively spend Ł1000's on the suspension and you can enjoy a mild improvement.

get yourself an uprated box with a quaife a.t.b, i had this and it made a huge difference. Also as said above, get yourself some wider tyres and wheels.

geometry makes a massive difference. Goodyear F1's prob the best tyre to use, - i run 215's. ATB's are good, but ŁŁŁ

got yokos at moment and there brand new i thought these would be good tyres

its not that i have a heavy right foot but when i want to use the power it comes with masses of spin

are uprated diffs expensive as i dont have much money to spend on 1

is it a genuine rs turbo box with lsd?u checked it?
mind the roads are very greasy this time of year,i can get my 306 d turbo to wheelspin in second with its beastly 90bhp(prob about 70 now as its 117k )
also the cars prob peakin in the 20psi range and as soon as it hits a certian rpm its gonna break traction you just need to learn how to feather it and control it when its on boost

With the right tyres etc you should be ok. What sort of power are you running. There could be a good possiblilty you don't have a genuine RS Turbo gearbox. Alot of RS have had them replaced in the past with XR3i jobbies etc.

I'm running about 200bhp with a quaiffe ATB diff and toyo R888's. Can't even get it to brake traction in 2nd still got rose jointed adjustable TCA's and front tie bars to fit yet

I'd highly recommend Goodyear Eagle F1's as an all round tyre and check your gearbox is the correct type with an LSD

as far as i know it is an rst gearbox but i did have it changed a while back and its not been the same its hard to get into gear sometimes and crunches bad i reverse, i have to put it into 4th then reverse or it wont go

the garage told me my clutch was worn but it didnt look worn to me

An ATB will not help you get traction in a straight line over the std LSD, only when cornering. A good adjustable geometery set up is the best bet.
