With the right tyres etc you should be ok. What sort of power are you running. There could be a good possiblilty you don't have a genuine RS Turbo gearbox. Alot of RS have had them replaced in the past with XR3i jobbies etc.

I'm running about 200bhp with a quaiffe ATB diff and toyo R888's. Can't even get it to brake traction in 2nd still got rose jointed adjustable TCA's and front tie bars to fit yet

I'd highly recommend Goodyear Eagle F1's as an all round tyre and check your gearbox is the correct type with an LSD
